I made a mistake today. I went into the Apple store. Yeah, bad idea. Especailly since I really really really want an iPod. And a Power Mac G5. Oh, not to mention a Canon Powershot S230 ELPH digital camera. All of which are wayyyyy out of my price range right now (and they'll remain there for quite some time). So yes, lots of drooling went on.

I guess I should add that I'm finally at home. I spent a week in Pennsylvania with my Grandma and other relatives. It was fun; I watched many a "Trading Spaces" (and daaang that show is completely addictive). Other than that I got to hang out with family and all that typical Christmas-y stuff. You know the drill.

Today was productive. I did Tae-Bo this morning, had coffee with my friends Andy and Jay (both of whom are single and humorously depressed about it), started working on sanding an antique piece of furniture that we pulled out of the trash (it's going to be my new tv stand)...the only thing I didn't do today is talk to Caleb. Which is quite sad, but tomorrow will be here soon enough and I think I just might make it... ::wink::

Oh! Another piece of news (at least for some)--one of my best friends, Kate, just got engaged this past weekend! She's in Washington state with her boyfri--fiance, Dustin. They've been dating for an extremely long time, most of which was long-distance, so I'm very happy for both of them. They're one of the couples that I point to when asked if a long-distance relationship can actually work out. (The answer is few, but some.)

I really wish I hadn't left my copy of The Postal Service's cd in Caleb's truck (which is now far, far away). Luckily, I have it burnt on my home computer, so I'm listening to it now. The only bad thing is that I don't have any blank cds, so on my computer is exactly where it's going to remain.

Speaking of my computer...it stinks. A lot. I spent over three hours the other night trying to download evaluation editions of Macromedia Flash MX and Adove Photoshop CS (I'm too lazy to look up links for those, go have fun). And...yeah. Can't use them. Wanna know why? Becuase we're running retarded Win ME on this computer. Which isn't supported by, well, anything. So my hopes and dreams of redesigning the site over break are, to put it lightly, shot to mars (although it feels like Pluto, because I know how I am when I'm at school. And that's busy up the wazoo). So I decided that I have measly little Paint and nothing else, I'm going to work on the other integral part of the site--content. It was bad enough going to Barnes and Nobles tonight, where I decided that I'm taking my laptop there and taking tedious design, photography, and web notes. We'll see how well I stick to that resolution.

But I did do Tae Bo today.
Which is exercise.
Which is the start of some sort of disipline, don't you think?

"I am thinking it's a sign
That the freckles in our eyes are mirror images
And when we kiss they're prefectly aligned and
I have to speculate
That God Himself did make
Us into corresponding shapes
Like puzzle pieces from the play and
True, it may seem like a stretch
But it's thoughts like this that catch
My troubled head when you're away
When I am missing you to death..."
